In this deeper dive into scripture, this series guides Catholics through a daily Advent reflection using the Jesse Tree model traditionally practiced by families. Each seven-minute episode introduces the ancestors of Jesus Christ, shares a Scripture passage, and offers an engaging, practical reflection.   Hosted by Dr. Scott Hefelfinger, Rooted helps viewers apply the passage and related teachings to each day of Advent, guided by the Church’s teaching.

Advent at Saint Paul

During this season of waiting, the Blessed Mother waits with us. We have several opportunities during Advent to celebrate her, her role in salvation history, and all of the ways she continues to point us to her son.

Advent is also a beautiful time to receive God's mercy through the sacrament of Confession. We will have several Penance services offered throughout the Deanery during Advent. You can also come to any of our regular Confession times Saturday 3-4 p.m. or Thursday 8:40-9:40 a.m. The Confessional is located inside the main church near the choir.

Holy Day of Obligation Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary

On December 9th we will celebrate the Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary with Mass times at 9 a.m., 6 p.m. in English and at and 7:15 p.m. in Spanish.

Our Lady of Guadalupe Procession and Fiesta

On December 8th after the 1 p.m. Mass, we will celebrate our Lady with a procession around the church grounds and a Fiesta in the Family LIfe Center.

Feast of Our Lady of Guadalupe

On December 12th, we will celebrate Mass for the Feast of Our Lady of Guadalupe at 6 p.m. in Spanish.

Penance Services

Prepare your heart this Advent season through the sacrament of Confession. Join us at 6:30 p.m. on December 2nd for an Advent Penance Service. We will have priests from around the Deanery at Saint Paul to hear your confession. Come and receive the gift of God’s mercy!

Las Posadas

Las Posadas is a Mexican Advent tradition that commemorates Mary and Joseph's journey to Bethlehem. The word posadas means "lodgings." Come join one or more of the celebrations to take place each night from December 16 to 23 from 7-9 pm. The celebration begins in the church and concludes in the Family Life Center. There will be prayer, singing, music in Spanish as well as traditional refreshments.
